What you'll learn.

By the end of this course, you’ll understand your anger in a way you never have before.

  • You’ll be able to catch yourself before you react
  • You’ll understand why the same things keep setting you off (and why it has far more to do with your past than your present)
  • You’ll be able to trace the full journey from trigger to reaction (and know exactly where to step in and change the outcome)
  • You’ll walk away with practical, natural options allowing you to control your emotions and express yourself clearly and calmly.

Who is this course for?

  • Your emotions go from 0 to 100 faster than you’d like
  • Your anger is affecting your relationships, your work, or how you feel about yourself
  • You’ve tried to “just calm down” and it hasn’t worked
  • You want to understand yourself better, not just manage your symptoms
  • Your temper has led you to say and do things in anger that you can’t take back

Course Outline

In my 1:1 sessions there’s one question that everybody asks me: “Why do I get angry?”. This module answers that question in detail by talking about the function and purpose of anger as an emotion. The self-study exercise guides your through looking at your own life to identify why you get angry.

This module is all about helping you build awareness of the kinds of things, people, places, memories, words, and behaviours that create a strong emotional reaction within you. The Self-study exercises guide you through building your very own trigger map. The more you know about what sets you off, the more you’re able to use that awareness to be intentional with your responses in those moments.

The past doesn’t define us, but it can teach us a lot. This module teaches you how to use the present as a mirror or a reflection of the past, thereby understanding what shapes your actions in the present. If you feel like you get angry over small or silly things sometimes, this module will be a goldmine for you. The self-study exercises are incredibly powerful – I spend a lot of time working through them and showing you exactly how to use them to stop letting the past dictate your present behaviour – which means your reactions feel more in proportion to what’s actually happening.

This module puts all the pieces of the puzzle together. I show you exactly what’s going on in your head and your body when you get angry. You’ll also learn how to start interrupting the cycle so that the same things don’t keep setting you off – giving you more power and control over your emotions and behaviour. The self-study exercise is full of rich examples and frameworks, that I go through in great detail, to ensure that you understand fully how to put it all together and make a difference in your own life.

Meet the Course Creator

Over the last few years, I’ve helped well over 100 people take back control of their emotions and their relationships, building on the principles I teach in this course. In my 1:1 work as an Anger Management, Anxiety and Panic Attack Coach, I’ve worked with people from all walks of life in the UK, Canada, USA, China, Germany and South Africa. My never-ending passion for growth, curiosity and the inability to do anything half-heartedly has led me to become a partner in growth for everyone that I work with – not just a ‘coach’ or ‘therapist’.

I’m on a mission to help as many people as I can to realise that their emotions don’t define them, and that while emotions like anger may not always be pleasant, it’s in that discomfort that you learn so much about yourself, and ultimately, start to shape the life that you want to have.

I hope that you’ll get as much pleasure working through the course as I did creating it.
